Frequently Asked Questions

What is Ecolisting?

Ecolisting online directory is Comcast's green way to provide listing information for the general public.

Where does Ecolisting get its information?

Ecolisting publishes XFINITY Voice residential customer listing information, supplemented by non-Comcast residential and business listing information licensed from an unaffiliated third-party data supplier.

Does Comcast sell its directory listing information to third parties for marketing purposes?

No, Comcast does not sell customer data for marketing purposes. However, the contents of the Ecolisting directories are publicly accessible.

How can I edit my residential listing?

Contact your local telephone provider to update your listing. When your provider submits a change request, your listing will be updated on the Ecolisting website.

If you are an XFINITY Voice subscriber, please contact Comcast at 1-800-XFINITY to make any changes to your listing. Changes will generally take several days to appear on the site. Check here for the listing guidelines for XFINITY Voice customers.

I'm an XFINITY Voice subscriber and I believe my listing is non-published but I see it on Ecolisting.com. How can I get my listing corrected?

If you are an XFINITY Voice subscriber and believe that your non-published number has been published in error, please contact Comcast at 1-800-XFINITY. Our agents will review your account and confirm that your telephone number currently has non-published status. If it does not and you would like to make it non-published, Comcast will add that change to the telephone number on your XFINITY account; a monthly non-published fee applies per telephone number. If your telephone number is already designated as non-published on your XFINITY account and your listing is published, Comcast will create a ticket, provide you with the ticket number for reference, and route that ticket for further investigation. If your listing is confirmed to be published on Comcast's online directory, Ecolisting, we will delete the listing in 24 hours. Comcast will also contact you to confirm resolution of your ticket at the contact number you provide. Additionally, you can check on the status of that ticket at any time by contacting 1-800-XFINITY.

How can I edit my business listing?

How can I remove my listing?

For XFINITY Voice subscribers, an additional monthly fee is charged for a non-published telephone number. Pricing varies by area; check your state's pricing list at www.comcast.com/tariffs.
